Well it seems the rumor was wrong and that there was some organized group of posters (or simply one mimicking many) who wished to make it look as if Keith Doucette was running for Ward 6 Councilor. This rumor is and was false.

Unlike many others I will state when I have made a mistake. This obviously is a mistake and I am sorry if I have offended you (yet again.)
That being said... I am not a paid reporter and do not have all the time in the world to check everything myself. I do not, for instance, call the participants in every news article to confirm the reporters veracity.
However... I probably should have been a little more vigilant when it comes to rumor passing by anonymous sources. I will try and do better.

Sure PI don't give the link so nobody can see the response he gave you. We do not expect you to check about things in the paper. But a ANON poster says something and you post it as fact. Not smart this stuff could be damaging.

PI you should have posted it as a rumor, the way you posted; it looks to be fact which we all know now it is not. You have my email and we have emailed privately in the past. So I guess my question, why not drop me an email and ask or simply call Tim's office?
I do not feel wronged, I simply was letting people know I did not pull papers, I have also shown them how easy it is to gather the correct information on candidates who have pulled papers.
You did not offend me with your incorrect post. You are trying to make it sound like you have offended me many times, this is not the case. Your one post of Ted Bettencourt did not offend me it simply ticked me off. I let you know that I was ticked and left it at that.
